These images were created for a branding campaign featuring my artwork for Key West Smuggler Whiskey and Vodka. All the the images were designed around Key West, nautical and/or smuggler themes. The images were designed to be bold, clear and easy to read. They will be applied in a variety of different ways – as merchandise, on site promotional material, and as decor for the distillery. These works are part of a large ongoing series in development throughout 2017 and beyond.
As with all commissions, the work progresses from sketch stage to a final painting. The sketch stage featured many designs not exhibited here but that will appear in later rounds for this project. Each sketch was evaluated by the client and the clear favorites were selected to go to the finish stage for this first round. All of the clients comments were incorporated into the final artwork.
