An exclusive collaboration between artist Mark T. Smith and Bang & Olufsen. Thirty select clientele are being invited to share their favorite music as inspiration for a new body of work. From these submissions, Mark T. Smith will create 10 original paintings and numerous preliminary works, which will be exhibited at the Orlando Showroom from November 4, 2025 through January 15, 2026.
The artwork created for this exhibition was inspired by “The Playlist” generated by the clientele that participated in the show’s call to action. Many are direct interpretations of the song’s lyrics, and or they reflect the overall mood or vibe of the musical piece.
The artwork for the playlist was created in a period of just two months! From concept through execution, this abstracted commission process comes to life in the Bang and Olufsen showroom in Orlando through mid-January.
