This sculpture entitled “Play” was created by the artist from a piece of steel stock. The artist creates the form that you see here by drawing directly into the steel with a plasma torch. After the artwork has been cut from the larger piece of stock, the artwork is polished and then in this case, was painted with candy apple red automotive paint. The artwork is mounted on two rebar rods via tack weld. This photograph was shot on Miami Beach by photographer Simon Hare. The model in the photograph is TA Hare.
